Experience Porcelain War, the Academy Award-nominated documentary and winner of the 2024 Sundance Grand Jury Prize for U.S. Documentary.
Filmed amid Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Porcelain War is a visually extraordinary and deeply human story of Ukrainian resilience, cultural resistance, and the determination to preserve life, identity and creativity in the face of war.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Australian producer Camilla Mazzaferro, RMIT translation teachers and SERC members, exploring the film, its translation, and the role of language in bringing Ukrainian voices to the world.
