Presenter: Dr. Stephan Natynczuk (Spare Krab Adventure Therapy)

Abstract: What does borshch have to teach us about meaningful, helpful, and useful conversations?

In this session, I will take a playful look at the ingredients of a good conversation and, using the metaphor of a hearty bowl of borsch, complete with sour cream and fresh dill, consider what is essential in pursuit of a good, reproducible, and nourishing recipe.

About the Presenter: Stephan really enjoys borshch, especially on canoe expeditions. Mostly Stephan works with youth, “Who don’t read good and want to do other things good too”, and does a fair amount of training for people needing to have good conversations both indoors and outdoors, often with adventure thrown in. Stephen is a counsellor and the co-author of Solution-Focused Practice in Outdoor Therapy: Co-Adventuring for Change
