Hear from social policy lecturer Dr Delia Rambaldini-Gooding and critical social geographer Associate Professor Natascha Klocker, as they delve into the contributions and equitable participation of refugees in Australian society. Both Delia and Natascha will present a comprehensive overview of their research in multicultural societies and refugee participation in Australian society and culture and their access to equitable employment and healthcare. The discussion will explore multiculturalism from the perspective of refugee groups in Australia. Their presentations have been designed with a diverse public audience in mind, and this event is open to the general public. High school students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Each presentation will last 15-20 minutes, and be followed by an interactive Q&A session where the audience are invited to engage with the researchers.
