This year, from 9-15 September universities, schools and organisations will come together in person and online to celebrate and centre the social sciences. From academic discussions to hands-on learning and public performance, there will be events to cater to all ages and interest levels across the week.
Social Sciences Week 2023 saw more than 30 partner organisations host over 85 events and this year looks set to be just as big, bold and bursting with opportunity. With a special focus on school involvement, 2024 will be a year for fostering young social scientists and connecting communities with the latest research and thought innovation in every discipline from anthropology to urban geography and everything in between.
Event registration is now open, so if you have an idea of how your school, university or organisation could champion the social sciences in your community, it’s time to make the dream a reality!
